Before Selling — Prepare Your Phone
1. Clean It
A clean phone sells for more. Wipe the screen and body with a soft cloth. Keep the case and screen protector on — it shows the phone was well-protected.
2. Factory Reset
Critical — erase all your data. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory Data Reset. Back up to Google or iCloud first.
3. Include Box & Accessories
The original box adds 500–1,500 EGP to the price. Original charger and earphone increase value further.
How to Set a Fair Price
- Check the current new price in Egypt
- Excellent condition: 60–70% of new price
- Good condition: 45–55% of new price
- Fair condition: 30–40% of new price
- Add 5–10% negotiation margin

- Luulwa — Free listing, easy interface, detailed specs and filters
- OLX — Egypt's largest used marketplace, but competitive and scam-prone
- Facebook Groups — Fastest sales, but highest risk
Photography Tips
- Shoot in natural daylight
- Capture front, back, sides, and screen while on
- If there are any defects — photograph them. Honesty builds trust and sells faster
- Include box and accessories in photos if available
Safety Tips
- Meet in a public place (café or mall)
- Accept cash or instant transfer (InstaPay) only
- Never ship first or accept bank transfers from strangers
- For high-value phones, photograph the buyer's ID
