01Selecting the Leather

Every piece begins with the leather. We examine the grain, texture, tone, strength, and natural characteristics of each hide before deciding where it should be used. Different parts of the hide behave differently, so selection is part of the design process, not simply the first stage of production.

02Cutting With Precision

Patterns are positioned carefully to use the most suitable section of leather for every component. The leather is then cut with accuracy to ensure clean proportions, balanced construction, and consistent alignment.

03Preparing the Edges

The edges are shaped, smoothed, and prepared before assembly. This stage requires patience, but it is essential to the final feel and appearance of the product. A well-finished edge should feel clean, balanced, and natural in the hand.

04Stitching the Piece

The components are assembled and stitched using durable thread selected to complement the leather. Stitch spacing, tension, and alignment are carefully controlled to create a strong construction and a clean visual rhythm.

05Finishing by Hand

The surface and edges are refined, polished, and inspected. The LUULWA mark is applied discreetly, never overpowering the design. Each detail is checked before the piece is approved.

06Final Inspection

Before leaving the workshop, every piece is examined for:

• Stitch alignment
• Edge quality
• Hardware security
• Logo placement
• Function and capacity
• Surface condition
• Serial-number accuracy
